Information we collect

CarbonOffice stores account details, company profile details, customer contact details, quote history, quote messages, market research responses, audit logs, and payment-related information you choose to add to your company profile or quotations.

This may include names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, job details, quote values, customer responses, support notes, and bank/payment details.

How we use the information

We use the information to provide the beta service, generate and manage quotations, track customer responses, support testers, monitor system activity, improve the product, and maintain security.

How information is stored

Data is stored in the application database and may be processed by the hosting, database, and email providers used to operate CarbonOffice. Sensitive details such as passwords and invite/reset tokens are not stored in plain text.

Sharing

We do not sell tester or customer data. Information may be shared with infrastructure providers only where needed to run, secure, monitor, and support the beta service.

Your responsibilities

You should only enter customer, quote, and payment information that you are authorised to use. Avoid adding unnecessary sensitive information to quote notes, messages, or market research fields.

Retention and deletion

During beta, data may be retained while we test and improve the service. If you need data corrected or removed, contact the CarbonOffice beta administrator.
